Solar station SS20F

Autonomous Solar Radio Measurement Station (Solar-RTU)

This compact solar radio module consists of a mounting head with a directional or omnidirectional antenna, a 10-watt solar panel, and an electronics unit that includes the radio device, measurement technology, charge controller, and solar battery. It is particularly suitable for measuring groundwater levels, flow rates, water levels, or for use in pressure-controlled high-level tanks. The average power consumption of the entire unit is approximately 4 mA, and it is equipped with a solar panel oversized by about 100%.

I/O Interfaces:
The module features 4 counter inputs (10 Hz), 4 binary inputs, 2 measurement inputs (0–20 mA / 4–20 mA), and 2 switching outputs. Standard 4–20 mA sensors with a supply voltage range starting from 11 volts can be used.

Data Logger Operation:
The integrated data logger can store measurement data for up to 4 weeks at 15-minute intervals. During each radio access, up to eight data sets can be transmitted in a single data telegram.

Online Operation:
In this operating mode, the current binary and analog signals are transmitted to the central station. This mode is suitable for transmitting and evaluating real-time data (e.g., for high-level tank filling).

Radio Cycle:
The SS20F can operate in radio cycles of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. The system automatically switches to radio mode, allowing stored or real-time data to be transmitted.
